Transportation
Given a community where residence, industry, recreation, education and cultural resources are all contained in an area that sprawls over that typical of a college campus, the Transportation Sector manager will not find herself deeply involved with questions of gridlock, intersection monitoring cameras or funding the highway patrol.
The Community grounds should be essentially free of cars. Walkways and quiet frequently running small trams of some sort should suffice to provide the necessary transportation as well as being minimally invasive to both pedestrians and the general atmosphere of "the good life".
We can maintain a fleet of vehicles for members to use on trips and then of course there is the issue of the fleet of tractors, trucks, forklifts, bulldozers, front end loaders and other construction equipment to maintain.
